The company was founded by Hans-Jochen Butt in 1974. His son Henning Butt has been with the company since 1996, and is now Managing Director of BUTT GmbH, together with his father.
Everything from a single source/accessibility
Planning, construction, production, assembly and sales through to annual maintenance and inspection are carried out by our own qualified employees. Our own vehicles deliver directly and work with integrated cranes to install products safely and professionally. In addition, our own vehicle fleet is always mobile for fast and smooth processing, maintenance and UVV inspections, so that we can on site quickly throughout Europe.
We only use high-quality materials and components.
For example, we always use strong IPE steel girders for our dock leveller substructures, we never use folded plates. We manufacture all BUTT products according to this principle.

Flexible and innovative
We’re happy to take on any challenge! We attach particular importance to finding a solution for your individual and innovative loading problems. We develop and realise special structures, such as mobile yard ramps with a load capacity of up to 42 tonnes, scissor lift tables for the paper industry with a platform size of 7 x 8 m or mobile lifting bridges for bridging tracks by working in cooperation with our customers.

The standard confirms that BUTT GmbH implements a quality assurance system that satisfies the corresponding requirements.
And of course, we manufacture in accordance with all statutory provisions and regulations, such as the EC Machinery Directive and Accident Prevention Regulations, plus our products bear the CE mark.
